    Marilynn V. Pentek, 85, of Sheboygan, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2010. Marilynn was born on December 28, 1924, to Raymond and Julia Lamb. She attended St. Peter Claver grade school in Sheboygan and graduated from Central High School in 1942. On June 24th, 1946, she married Joseph F. Pentek at St. Peter Claver Church. Marilynn was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish where she was an active volunteer. She enjoyed many years of swimming at the YMCA, as well as bowling, golfing with friends and fishing. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Her husband, Joe, two brothers, three sisters and one son-in-law preceded Marilynn in death.

     

    She is survived by her children, Viola Hall, Marlene (Dennis) Luedtke of Sheboygan, Joseph (Barbara) Pentek of Fond du Lac, Lorelei (Kenneth) Kellner of Neenah, and Pamela (Terry) Owens of South Beloit. She is also survived by her beloved 12 grandchildren, Angela Hall, Justin (Casey) Hall, Melissa (Scott) Bell, Jason (Amy) Luedtke, Jeremy (Anne) Luedtke, Thomas (Amy) Pentek, Joseph (Jill) Pentek, David Pentek, Karen (Chris) Birling, Kristine (Josh) Sova, Josh Owens, Jake (Lindsay Finocchiaro) Owens, and 12 great grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Janis Wierzbach, a brother-in-law, John Pentek, sisters-in-law, Joan Pentek, Phyllis Pentek, Janet Lamb, and Kitty Lamb, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

     

    A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, September 2 at 10:30 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Church, 1305 Humbolt Avenue, Sheboygan with Rev. Glenn Powers as celebrant. Burial followed in Immaculate Conception Cemetery Visitors called at church from 9 A.M. until the time of Mass.

     

    Marilynn’s family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staff of Countryside Manor and the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for the care and compassion given to her.
