Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Feb 28, 1988
Died on Nov 02, 2018 and resided in Sheboygan, Wisconsin
Kaila Sass, 30, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully on November 2, 2018 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Born on Feb 28, 1988, she was a bright child who loved to study math, reading, writing, and history. As she got older, her interest in education and the pursuit of knowledge did blossom, but was somewhat overshadowed by her love of novels, video games, watching movies with friends, and taking naps with her beloved cats.
She graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 2005, after which she spent some time at UW-Milwaukee before spending the next few years living in different places across the US. After living in Wyoming, California, Texas, and Nevada, she made her way back to Wisconsin and settled in Sheboygan in 2010. She did work, and enjoyed her job at the Kohler Company, where she made many friends and hopefully very few enemies.
Her primary passions were snuggling animals, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and reading her favorite books over again until they fell apart. She also enjoyed cooking, writing, painting, and watching movies.
Family and friends will remember that she was usually funny, very nice, and always surrounded by a formidable number of teacups.
Survivors include her Auntie Gina (David) Horner and her cousins Devin and Gavin Horner ("the boys"), uncles: Dan (Kathy Brown) Sass and their daughter Cappella Santos-Brown and Doug (Wendy) Sass and their children Peyton and Dylon, grandma Marge Sass, grandpa Richard Sass, mother Lisa (Dave) Bailey, father Mark Rigge, her dear friends, her brother-in-law Max Vale, and her sister Heather who she loved most of all.
Friends and family would like to thank: Children’s Hospital, Froedtert Hospital and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Kaila herself wants to thank most warmly: her family, for their unwavering love and support these past thirty years, the friends she so loved, for every happy memory and helpful hand, her Froedtert and Sharon Richardson family- who never faltered, and her People- You know who you are. I love you.
