    Michael J. Krebsbach, age 68, of Sheboygan, died on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.  He was born in Wisconsin Rapids on October 29, 1949, the son of the late Merwald and Maryann Kuhn Krebsbach.

    Michael attended local schools in Wisconsin Rapids and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1968.  He then enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving his country in Vietnam as a Helicopter Crew Chief from 1968 to 1969.  He was employed as a Lead Maintenance Tech. at GKN Sinter Metals in Germantown, WI.  On March 4, 2005 Michael was united in marriage to Connie Fischer in Sheboygan. 

    Michael was a member of American Legion Post 83.  He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Michael was a Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan.  He loved his war and western movies and his little buddy, “Scruffy”. 

    Survivors include his wife, Connie; two sons, Todd (Robin) Krebsbach and Clayton (Kristen) Krebsbach; a daughter, Lacey (Josh) Stirdivant, all of Sheboygan; seven grandchildren, Brandan, Cameron, Coleton, Cheyenne, Savannah, Gage and John; a brother, Roger (Karen) Krebsbach, of Iron Mountain, MI and his sister, Gloria (William) Spice, of Wisconsin Rapids.  He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.  Michael was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Patricia Kubowski and a son, Luke Michalski.

    A memorial service for Michael will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan.  Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. 

    Michael’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and Dr. Matthews office for the compassion and care that was given to him. 

    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Michael’s name.
