    Orline "Orlea" Rowland

    Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on

Died on Sep 27, 2018 and resided in Sheboygan, Wisconsin

Orline "Orlea" Rowland passed away at her home with her husband by her side on Thursday, September 27, 2018.

She was born at home in Sheboygan to Thomas and Hetwig Kiernan.

Orlea graduated from Sheboygan Central High School. She wanted to be a nurse or kindergarten teacher, but decided on her third choice: becoming a hairdresser.

She trained in Milwaukee and loved it from day one. She eventually moved back to Sheboygan and opened her salon, Ralene's, in 1952.

In 2007, Orlea and her husband, Leonard, sold the salon to one of her employees, Jill Johnson, and retired. Orlea is survived by her husband, Leonard Rowland and sister-in-law Susie Rowland.

Orlea was a devoted Witness of Jehovah and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she put much faith and hope in God's Kingdom which will bring earthly benefits beyond compare.

A time when the whole earth will be brought to a garden-like paradise state. A time when all sickness and physical infirmities will be no more. "With that I heard a voice from the throne say, 'Look! The tent of God is with mankind and He will reside with them and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them. And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore... and the One seated on the throne said, 'Look! I am making all things new.' Also, he says, 'Write, because these words are faithful and true.'" -- Revelation 21:3-5.

Sleep softly, loved one, but just for a moment. Christ said, “The hour is coming when all the dead will hear his voice and come out of the grave.”

We know his promises are sure and true. He gave his “perfect life”, our lives to save.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 6th at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3328 North Avenue, Sheboygan, Wisconsin 53083.
