Maymie M. Bintzler, age 85, of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth. Maymie was born on August 25, 1932 to the late Henry and Stella Smith. Maymie was united in marriage to Lloyd Bintzler on November 24, 1951. Maymie was proud to have earned her GED from LTC in May of 1983. Family always came first to Maymie. She was the backbone of her family and thought of others before herself. She loved to cook food and one thing was for sure, you never left her house hungry.
Maymie is survived by her children Mark (Wanda) Bintzler, Dale (Julee) Bintzler and Kay (Tim) Hill; grandchildren Stacy (Shane) Packard, Ashly (Nate) Schmidt, Joshua (Brenda) Bintzler, Erin (Rick) Zimbal, Justin Hill (fiancée Kathryn), Travis Hill (fiancée Nikki) and Tyler Hill; great-grandchildren, Conway and Aspen Schmidt, Owen and Makenzie Packard and Ezekiel Zimbal. She is further survived by her siblings Donald Smith, Dolly Nack and Patty Tomazin as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, several siblings, son Dean and great-grandchild Elijah Bintzler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1305 Humboldt Ave., Sheboygan. Family and friends may gather at the church on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to the time of Mass at 6:00 p.m. Private interment will take place at Wildwood Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Rocky Knoll and to Dr. Barnes for their care given to Maymie over the past 11 years.
