    Timothy A. Pozenel

Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on Mar 23, 1951

Died on May 03, 2018 and resided in Sheboygan, Wisconsin

Timothy “Tim” Pozenel, age 67, of Sheboygan went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 3rd, 2018.  Tim was born March 23, 1951 in Sheboygan to the late Frank and Florence (Jasion) Pozenel.  Tim attended Sheboygan schools and graduated from North High School, class of 1969. On November 20, 1987, Tim was united in marriage to Barb Rammer at First Assembly of God Church in Sheboygan.  In 2015 he retired from a 44-year career at Vollrath Company where he was a cost estimator.

Tim was athletic, energetic, and fiercely competitive. His love of sports brought him closer to his son, Ryan who followed in his shoes to work at Vollrath Company. He played softball with the Sheboygan Softball Association and the Christian Good Fellowship League until he was 59 years old. Tim loved to play tennis and ping pong with his daughter, Lindsey, playing for hours at a time. Tim was recognized for his generous spirit, giving his time within his church and the community. Tim was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Tim and Barb enjoyed 30 years of camping together, along with family, friends and their beloved family dogs, creating lasting memories. Tim loved to laugh. Many memories of Tim often entailed a funny story or a classic joke. If you knew Tim, you were likely a victim of one of his pranks.

In the Fall of 1984, Tim committed his life to Jesus Christ where he found forgiveness, peace and purpose in his life.  In 2012 Tim was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given 9 months to live. Tim, through his faith in Jesus Christ as his Great Physician  overcame that cancer and went on to share another 6 years with his family. In those six years, Tim continued to play sports and enjoyed time with his friends and family, defying any prognosis he was given. Unwilling to let his miracle go to waste, Tim shared his testimony at any opportunity, spreading the word of God’s healing love to others.

Tim is survived by his loving wife Barb, son Ryan Pozenel, daughter Lindsey (Jeremy) Jochman, a brother Mike Pozenel all of Sheboygan as well as other relatives and friends.

Family and friends may gather at City Church, 2313 N. 31st Street on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 2 P.M. until the time of service at 6 P.M.  Pastor Aaron Herman will officiate.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Tim’s name.

The Pozenel family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Matthews and his staff along with the staff of the Sharon Richardson Hospice for their care and compassion.
