Charlotte K. Gabrish, age 11, of Sheboygan, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Sheboygan on August 19, 2006.
She attended local schools and was currently enrolled at Farnsworth Middle School. Charlotte enjoyed playing the clarinet in the school band, basketball, gymnastics, collecting Webkins and spending time with her friends.
Survivors include her parents, James and Barb Gabrish, of Sheboygan; three sisters, Lindsey, Jasmine and Kalei Gabrish, all of Sheboygan; grandparents, David and Helen Gabrielse, of Oostburg; her great-grandparents, Don Ringel, of Sheboygan, and Jerome and Patricia Gabrish of Sheboygan; aunts and uncles, Dan and Sherry Plopper, Rick Gabrielse, of Oostburg, Rodney Gabrielse, of Sheboygan, Bruce Gabrielse, of Florida, Sandy and Todd Schroeder, of Sheboygan, Rochelle and David Hochhalter, of Mt. Pleasant, and Linda and Warren Allwardt of Sheboygan; cousins, Cordell and Caleb Plopper, IsaBella, Destiny, and Daevid, Gabrielse, Avery Guenther, Cameron Kress, Holly Kress, Tayler Schroeder, and Amy and Shannon; birth parents Joshua and Nicole Gabrish. Charlotte is further survived by many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her two grandmothers, Audrey Ringel and Betty Gabrish, and great uncle John Gabrish.
A funeral service for Charlotte will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at Bethany Reformed Church, 1315 Washington Ave., Sheboygan with Rev. Jon Garbison officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Tuesday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Charlotte’s name.
