    Julianne W. Lilyquist, age 84, of Sheboygan, died on Friday, February 09, 2018 at

    the Sheboygan Progressive Care Center. She was born in Sheboygan on October

    4, 1933, the daughter of the late Lester and Vera Schultz Hertensteiner.

     

    Julianne attended local schools in the Sheboygan area. On September 5, 1949,

    she was united in marriage to Clifford Lilyquist Sr. in Sheboygan. Julianne and

    Clifford raised their family of 4 boys in Sheboygan. She also worked outside the

    home, including being a bookkeeper and assistant manager at Walgreens.

    Julianne and Clifford later owned and operated the Hwy 51 Motel and a bait shop

    in Hancock, WI for over twenty years. She also had her own gift shop in the motel

    office. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and traveling around the country.

    They returned to Sheboygan in the late 1990’s.

     

    Survivors include her husband, Clifford Sr., of Sheboygan; three sons, Mark

    (Margie) Lilyquist, of Sheboygan Falls, Clifford Lilyquist Jr., of Sheboygan, Gary

    (Marge) Lilyquist, of New Holstein; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Lilyquist, of

    Sheboygan Falls; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and her sister,

    Lois Gremban of Florida. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

    Julianne was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Michael Lilyquist and a

    daughter-in-law, Marie Lilyquist.

     

    In accordance to Julianne’s wishes a private service has been held.

     

    The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the

    Sheboygan Progressive Care Center for the compassion and care that was given to

    Julianne. And thank you to Compassus Hospice for their help the last few months.

    The Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
