Robert John "Bob" King

Robert King was born on March 12, 1942 to the late Raymond and Cecelia (Poisson) and passed away on February 3, 2018. He attended local schools and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1959. After graduation, Bob went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force for seven years. During his working years, Bob was employed by Thomas Industries Pemco and retired from the Post Office after 28 years. He was united in marriage to his wife and best friend, Kaye Yurk on November 22, 1969. Bob loved golfing and bowling, which was hard for him to give up. He also enjoyed getting together with family and friends. Bob had 75 happy years with 49 of them being with his special friend and wife.
Bob is survived by his wife, Kaye; siblings, Peggy (Stan) Bieda and Randy King; nieces and nephews, George, Kim, Braedyn, Jackson, Kathy and Sandy; special cousin, Arlene Konz; sisters-in-law, Barbara Holzer, Mary (Marvin) Foster, Debra Yurk and Margarite Yurk and brothers-in law, Paul (Pat) Yurk, Richard (Jean) Yurk, Charles (Wendy) Yurk and Tony (Lee) Valenta. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, George King; niece, Pamela; cousins, Mike and Alex Konz; parents-in-law, Christ and Ruth Yurk and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, James Yurk, Judy Valenta, John Yurk, Christ Yurk and Fred Yurk.
Visitation will be held at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. A memorial fund in Bob’s name has been established.
