Jack H. Prepster, age 67, of Sheboygan, died on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was born in Sheboygan on August 20, 1950, the son of the late Henry and Janet Seifert Prepster.
Jack attended grade school at Farnsworth and St. Peter Claver Catholic School, and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1969. He then spent a year in Texas where he became and avid Texas A&M fan. He was employed at Brunette Ace Hardware until he was hired at Enzo Jel in 1978. Jack worked there for 29 years. He also held various part-time jobs until 2007 when he suffered several strokes at which time he had to retire for the workforce completely.
He married his wife and best friend Marilyn Stickney on November 22, 1995. She later became his caregiver and his strongest advocate. Jack really loved ‘talking about” and watching sports. He was a happy man when he had someone to “talk sports” with and after his first stroke took his speech and left him with some brain damage, this helped to bring some of that all back. Jack was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan and never missed a game.
He was a member of Southside Alliance Church where he met many special friends, who not only prayed for him all the time, but were always there to help him and Marilyn when they needed. Jack enjoyed spending time with his family very much, especially his great-grandchildren. He loved spoiling them and every minute he was with them brought joy to his heart. Jack also loved spending time with all his other caregivers, his outing with them and his friends from “Whats Up” and “Ma Bells”.
