Carol J. Arndt, age 90, died on Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Waterford in Plymouth. She was born in Sheboygan on December 12, 1926, the daughter of the late Gottfried and Isabelle Latisch Kraus.
She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1944. On January 27, 1951 she was united in marriage to Roger Arndt. He preceded her in death in May of 2006. Carol was employed as a cook for the Sheboygan Public School System for over twenty years.
She was a lifelong member of St. John’s U.C.C. and was involved in the Altar Guild and Women’s Guild at church. Carol enjoyed her card clubs with friends, gardening, the Green Bay Packers and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her two children, LuAnn (Keith) Miller, of Sun Prairie, Scott (Dayle) Arndt, of Fort Atkinson; one granddaughter, Jessi (Ronald) Soholt, of Sun Prairie; and her brother, Richard (Eleanor) Kraus, of Atlanta, GA. She was further survived by other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a granddaughter, Tobi Miller.
A funeral service for Carol will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan with Rev. Gregory Whelton officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. John U.C.C. or St. Nicholas Home Hospice. A heart felt thank you is extended to the hospice and the Waterford for the compassion and care that was given to her. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reinboldfh.com
