    Beverly Mae Dorn, age 85, of Sheboygan, passed into eternal life on Thursday, September 7, 2017 with her family at her side. Beverly was born in Sheboygan on November 17, 1931, the daughter of the late Minnie Hermann and Fred Liebelt. 

    Beverly attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1950. On October 1, 1955, Beverly was united in marriage to Edward (Pete) Dorn at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Pete preceded her in death in 2008. Beverly was a proud homemaker and took great pride in raising her five children. Beverly also worked at Kohler Company in the sales department and at Art Imig’s Clothing as a sales clerk. Beverly was a wonderful hostess who loved parties, and welcomed one and all into her home. She will live on in our memories.

    Beverly was a long-time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she served as a greeter. Beverly enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Beverly especially enjoyed relaxing and conversing with visitors in her beautiful backyard.

    Survivors include her five children, Brian (Susan) Dorn of Burlington, Brad (Janice) Dorn of Cedarburg, Kevin (Michele) Dorn of Sturgeon Bay, Julee (Dale) Bintzler of Sheboygan, and Lee Ann (Jon) Mudrock of Coto de Caza, CA; six grandchildren, Gretchen (Kyle) Hoffman of Burlington, Peter (fiancée Taylor Hallenbeck) Dorn of Burlington, Megan Dorn of Minneapolis, MN, Colin Dorn of Cedarburg, Erin (Richard) Zimbal of Sheboygan, Corey Mudrock of Coto de Caza, CA; two great-grandchildren, Julia Elizabeth Hoffman and Ezekiel Richard Zimbal; her siblings, Karla Schenk of Switzerland, Kurt Hermann of Sturgeon Bay, Mike Liebelt of Sheboygan and Linda Liebelt of Sheboygan  She is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Shirley Zempel and her brother, Randy Liebelt.

    A funeral service for Beverly will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1121 Georgia Ave., Sheboygan with Rev. James Hartman officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will take place in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

    A heartfelt thank you is extended to the St. Nicholas Home Hospice staff for the compassion and care that was given to Beverly. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Beverly’s name and may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or St. Nicholas Hospice.
