Frank Wilfred Littlefield, age 88, of Sheboygan, entered Eternal Life on June 1, 2017.  His last wish was to spend his final days at home, surrounded by his family.

He was born on January 10, 1929, in the town of Lima, son of the late Earl Littlefield and Mildred (Littlefield) Leverenz.  Frank was employed at Vollrath Company for 43 years.  He also maintained the Holy Cross Cemetery for many years.

On August 12, 1950, Frank married the love of his life, Eunice Nottling.  Frank and Eunice were blessed with nearly 67 wonderful years of marriage, raising six children.  Beloved by all who knew him, Frank was a humble, hardworking man with a generous, calm, loving spirit.  He was an optimist with a truly selfless nature, always putting others first and going out of his way to help everyone from loved ones to neighbors to complete strangers.  So many times, people would say, “Frank is the best man I have ever known.”  Frank was talented in whatever he put his mind to: stained glass, woodworking, remodeling and gardening were just a few of his talents.  An avid motorcyclist for 70 years, he was a member of the Sheboygan County Motorcycle Club and enjoyed many road trips to Sturgis, SD, with his wife.  Together, they also loved waltzing on roller skates, going on long walks, and relaxing in their favorite vacation spot, Jamaica.  Frank also loved boating, fishing, and spending time with his family and his loyal dog, Chibe.  He touched countless lives and was loved more than words can say.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice; six children: Michael (Debbie) Littlefield of Newton, Deborah (Cory) Fischer of Sheboygan, Julie Tenpas (Rick) Herziger of Sheboygan Falls, David (Sherri) Littlefield of Bentonville, AR, Kim Littlefield and Yeun Littlefield of New York; nine grandchildren: Sean Littlefield, Todd Rosenstein, Eric Rosenstein, Kari (Charles) Collins, Brenda (Clinton) Wallgren, Julie (Scott) Meanor, Tanya (Jason) Drescher, Candace (Jon) Wittrock and Mitchell Tenpas; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers Eugene and Bob Littlefield.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Earl Jr. and Richard, and a sister, Beatrice Barta.

A funeral service will be held to honor Frank on Monday, June 5, 2017, at 4 p.m. at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan. Father Richard Cerpich will officiate.  Visitation will take place prior to the service from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Frank’s name.
