Ladislav Tevsh was born on May 18, 1934 and passed away on May 25, 2017 at the age of 83.  He attended St. Cyril and Methodius Elementary School and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1953.  Laddy proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, eight months in Washington and one year in Germany.  During his working years, Laddy worked at Georgia Pacific as a Supervisor until his retirement.  He was very athletic and enjoyed softball, bowling and golfing, and was even able to hit 13 holes in one!  When Laddy wasn’t playing sports, he enjoyed watching them, whether that be the Brewers, Bucks or Packers.  He was also a lifelong member of the American Slovenian Catholic Union (KSKJ).  Laddy was not a rich man but was a very generous man and willing to help his family when they were in need.  He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, eating Jelly Beans, Kit Kats, Oreo Cookies, vanilla ice cream and a refreshing can of 7up.

Laddy is survived by his siblings, Sylvia Haneman, Stephanie (Bob) Post, Jenny (the late Bob) Starrett, Michael (LeAnn) Tevsh, Rose Leblanc, Elizabeth (the late Tom) Schweikert and Mary (Stuart) Bawden.  He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Laddy is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary and siblings, Edward and Joseph (Nancy).

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 822 New Jersey Ave., Sheboygan, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Richard Cerpich officiating.  Memorials to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice are appreciated.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Shores of Sheboygan, Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and the Aurora doctors for their care of Laddy.
