    Roland “Mike” Graumann, age 77, of Sheboygan, died on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at his home.  He was born in Sheboygan on January 28, 1940, the son of the late Roland and Seraphine Wettstein Graumann.

    Mike attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1958.  He then furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin, studying both History and Psychology over his four years in Madison.  On July 6, 1963, he was united in marriage to Barbara Henning at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. 

    Mike was lifelong Realtor, beginning his career in 1963 at Lee Realty and then started and ran his own real estate company, Graumann Real Estate One, for over a decade.  Mike was recognized as one of the leading real estate brokers in Sheboygan and earned the Realtor Of The Year honor a number of times.  He had a passion for selling homes that came from his love of marketing, promotion and architecture.  Mike was a current member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Sheboygan County Landlord Association and the Thunderbird Club of America.

    Mike had two Ford Thunderbirds, both early 1960s vintage, that appeared on the cover of Thunderbird Magazine.  He loved to travel with his family, often searching for Frank Lloyd Wright buildings and architecture.  An avid photographer, he also was known for his large volumes of vacation films and photos. 

    Mike was a dedicated family man – devoting significant love and attention to his wife, children and grandchildren.  Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Sheboygan; two children, Angela (Patrick) Gruenke, of West Bend, Robert (Elizabeth) Graumann, of Brentwood, TN; five grandchildren, Alyssa, Nathan and Madelyn Gruenke, Kelsey and John Graumann; three sisters, Mary (Don) Stoutenger, of Orange, CA, Linda (Kent) Augustson, Pamela (Dan) Deussing, both of Sheboygan; two brothers, Larry (Cindy) Last, of Sheboygan, Paul (Ann) Graumann, of Sheboygan Falls; two sisters-in-law, Suzanne (Jeff) Gierke, of Two Rivers, Louise Henning, of Sheboygan; two brothers-in-law, Bill Holbrook, of Sheboygan and Keith Suprick, of Oostburg.  He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.  Mike was preceded in death by parents, and an infant son, John Graumann. 

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1305 Humboldt Ave., Sheboygan with Rev. Paul Fliss officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name.
